CORAL for Environmental & Energy Services (CORALCEES) delivers integrated environmental and energy consultancy services across Yemen and the MENA region, built on over twenty years of in-country project experience and a permanent multidisciplinary technical team.

Our services encompass the full spectrum of environmental studies and consultancy — including Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA/EIA), environmental baseline surveys, environmental policy formulation, climate risk research and climate vulnerability assessment, land degradation assessment, coastal zone management and marine ecosystem assessment, ecosystem valuation and ecosystem services assessment, international waters assessment, environmental rehabilitation studies, Environmental Management System (EMS) development, environmental regulatory framework assessment for petroleum and industrial projects, waste management regulatory studies, disaster risk reduction (DRR) and climate resilience studies, and environmental awareness and training. All assignments are delivered in accordance with IFC Performance Standards and the World Bank Environmental & Social Framework.

​On the energy side, CORALCEES provides renewable energy development (solar, wind, waste-to-energy), energy efficiency studies and fuel-switch analysis, GHG emissions assessment, carbon footprint estimation, climate change mitigation and adaptation studies, water resources management and irrigation studies, Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) advisory and support, and climate finance advisory — including preparation of technical documentation meeting Green Climate Fund (GCF), Global Environment Facility (GEF), and International Climate Initiative (IKI) requirements in support of client funding applications.

 

​We further provide retained environmental legal compliance advisory, EMS and HSE system development, sustainability advisory to multi-site industrial operations, and strategic environmental advisory to corporate and institutional clients.

CORALCEES is positioned to support IFC, World Bank, and UNDP-funded programmes in Yemen — including NDC implementation, climate adaptation planning, disaster risk reduction, water and irrigation management, coastal zone management, and renewable energy access projects — providing in-country technical capacity aligned with international environmental and social performance standards.
