CORAL for Environmental & Energy Services (CORALCEES) delivers integrated environmental and energy consultancy services across Yemen and the MENA region, built on over twenty years of in-country project experience and a permanent multidisciplinary technical team.

Our services encompass the full spectrum of environmental studies and consultancy delivered across Yemen, including Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA/EIA), environmental and social baseline surveys, climate risk research, marine ecology surveys, Environmental Management System (EMS) development, environmental regulatory framework assessment for petroleum and industrial projects, and waste management regulatory studies. All assignments are delivered in accordance with IFC Performance Standards and the World Bank Environmental and Social Framework.

Building on this track record, CORALCEES is positioned to support clients in related environmental domains including environmental policy advisory, climate vulnerability assessment, land degradation assessment, coastal zone management, ecosystem services assessment, disaster risk reduction (DRR) and climate resilience studies, and environmental awareness and training.

​On the energy side, CORALCEES delivers renewable energy feasibility (solar and waste-to-energy), energy efficiency studies and fuel-switch analysis, GHG emissions assessment, carbon footprint estimation, climate change mitigation studies, and climate finance advisory, including delivered GCF-compliant technical documentation. CORALCEES is further equipped to support Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) advisory, climate change adaptation studies, water resources management and irrigation studies, and Global Environment Facility (GEF) and International Climate Initiative (IKI) funding documentation in support of client funding applications.

 

We further provide retained environmental legal compliance advisory, EMS and HSE system development, and strategic environmental advisory to corporate and institutional clients, and we are developing our sustainability and ESG advisory services for multi-site industrial operations.
